What you need
1 glass
1 dish
1 pyramid made of synthetic sponge
Iron wire
20 little sticks
9-10 coloured leaves of cordyline ( plant belongs to Lily family)
20 lemons (or limes)
What to do:
-
Put the spongy pyramid on a dish, a bit larger than the pyramid's base.
Make some "U-pins" with the iron wire. Envelop the pyramid with the leaves and fix them with the "U-pins". The first layer, prepared with leaves, must be tightly stuck to the pyramid.
-
When the pyramid will be completely covered, set a second layer of leaves, using the “U-pins” (set on the top and on the base of each leave), in order to give a sense of softness, very supple like a wave. Be careful to harmonize the leaves’ gait, following the shape of pyramid; you should start from the top (narrower and sharpener) till reaching the base, larger and full of waves, with a bow-result closing.
-
Thread the lemons into the sticks, keep in check that the most beautiful part is in front of you, because this part will be the visible one! Introduce the arranged lemons into the hollow and empty areas, left by the second layer of leaves, in this way: one by one covering over the top of the pyramid and some down at the base.
-

-
Your composition is concluded. Put it on an overturned and steady glass.

Curiosity
Fruit Pyramid is a decoration of 16th century. The one we suggested you is a modern version, but with a major lightness!
