Last December Tedora Film distributed to Italian cinemas "Il giardino di limoni" (the lemon tree garden) a dramatic movie by Eran Riklis produced in Israel, Germany and France.

Hiam Abbass, Doron Tavory, Ali Suliman, Tarik Kopty and Amos Lavi star in the film, which recounts the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through the eyes of a woman named Salma, who spent her entire life in the West Bank. The house Salma lives in has a wonderful garden filled with lemon trees, but unfortunately this last abuts the villa of the Israeli Ministry of Defence Navon, who regards the lemon tree grove as the perfect hiding place for potential snipers. An intense legal battle follows, with Salma trying to defend her garden, her roots, and her identity with the secret support of Mira, the Israeli minister's wife. It's not a matter of feuding neighbours, but truly a clash between different worlds.
