Guided and inspired by lemons, we tried to come up with some ideas sure to bring a smile to Dad's face...

Here's a few, definitively "solar" gift ideas, to brighten up and bring an early taste of summer to his day:

› A gorgeous, yellow Lamborghini Murcielago; most of us probably can not afford the real thing, yet what about a true-to-scale model?

› Does Dad love motorcycles and Valentino Rossi? We could give him the latest true-to-scale model of his favourite "power horse", in yellow of course.

› Much closer to our budget may be: a beautiful tie, a pullover, an unusual wallet or a belt. What colour? That of the sun... what else!

› Is Dad an avid reader? No doubt that a thriller would do... after all it's called a "yellow" in Italian!

› Is Dad a technology loving geek? We could then opt for a cheery MP3, a brand new yellow cell phone or a latest generation notebook.

Does he love great food? Simple! Let's become pastry chefs for a day and bake him delicious. sophisticated lemon flavoured cookies, then let's toast him with a glass of sweet limoncello.
