“Dreams are my reality…” remember the lyrics from "Reality" the soundtrack of the 1980 French teenage romance movie "La Boum" ("The Party") starring the gorgeous debutant Sophie Marceau? In Italy the film was titled "Il Tempo delle Mele", meaning "The Time Of Apples", and as a result apples have been associated with the beautiful melody of the "Reality" ballad ever since. Apples aside, the melody is the perfect soundtrack for the surreal, dream-like days that follow the mercurial weather of March. Spring is a time filled with hope and the delicate beauty of newly opened, Lemon blossoms.

An now, influenced by the melodies of the San Remo Festival of Italian Music, we can sing along with Luigi Tenco, and celebrate with ever-growing pride our heavenly, juicy "made in Italy" lemons...
