Lemon popsicles are a cure-all for any season. They are a refreshing solution for muggy summer weather, in winter, they help our digestion, and for all seasons in between…well, they’re always good, light and filled with flavour. Just think: only 45 calories for a scrumptious wallop of vitamin C!
Have you ever wondered how to make homemade popsicles ? We are certain that once you see how quick and easy it is, you will not be able to go without them ever again.
The recipe for 4 lemon popsicles calls for:
- 100 g water
- 150 ml Limmi lemon juice
- 50 g sugar
Preparation
Pour the mix into silicon popsicle moulds (insert ice cream sticks, which are sold by most supermarkets), and add a few mint leaves, for extra colour and taste.
Place the moulds into the freezer for about 3/4 hours, until the liquid is frozen.
Always in a hurry? Instead of lemon juice and sugar, you can use Limmi Sweet, our sweetened lemon juice, and just add water to it. Your popsicles will be ready to freeze in 2 minutes. 🙂
If you like exotic flavours, use Limmi Lime juice instead of lemon juice. Or you can even mix 75 ml of lime juice with 75 ml of lemon juice for a rich and fragrant taste.
