A sapling beautiful to look at and good to eat. Here’s how to make lemon-scented Christmas tree place cards with sugar paste.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml water
  • 50 g honey
  • 500 icing sugar
  • 5 g gelatine sheets
  • 5 g food coloring
  • 3 tablespoons of LIMMI lemon juice

Soften the gelatin in cold water, pour it into a saucepan and add 50 g of honey, then work with the icing sugar until you get a gummy ball, which you will knead until it is smooth. Divide the dough into small pieces, add the food coloring (gel or paste) and the lemon and amalgam juice vigorously, until they are completely absorbed.

Now the sugar paste is ready to be used.

Create a cone, then with the cutters cut into the leaves that you are going to apply on the cone and voila, your Christmas place card is ready.

You can create yellow saplings, or using the green dye to create green Christmas trees to decorate with lemon-scented balls made with yellow sugar paste.
