A timeless recipe enriched by the decisive flavour of lemon juice. You absolutely have to try it!
Ingredients (4 servings)
- 600 gr. chicken breast
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- flour as needed,
- salt to taste,
- frying oil as needed
For the sauce
- 6 tablespoons Limmi lemon juice
- 1/2 glass water
- 2 teaspoons flour
- 1 pinch of salt
Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized chunks. Beat the eggs in a dish with a pinch of salt. Place some flour on another plate. Dip the chicken in the eggs first, then coat with flour, shake off the excess and fry them in a large pan (preferably a wok) with plenty of oil. Take the chicken out of the wok and remove the excess oil with parchment paper.
On the side, prepare the lemon sauce by placing all ingredients in the mixer. Blend thoroughly, then transfer the sauce to a small pan and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
Place the chicken into the large pan again, pour the sauce and olive oil over it, mix well and cook for another 5 minutes. Serve hot.
