We have often spoken about the benefits of combining lemon juice and ginger. This time we bring you an oriental twist on classic lemonade, the summer version of the healthy, detoxifying beverage you can enjoy hot before breakfast every morning.
Here is how to prepare ginger lemonade:
- 70 g ginger
- 18 tablespoons Limmi lemon juice
- 1 litre water
- 5 tablespoons honey
Clean and puree the ginger using a blender. Add the lemon juice, water, 5 tablespoons of honey, and blend everything together.
Filter the lemonade into a container, shake it to thoroughly mix the flavours, and refrigerate it.
Enjoy your ginger lemonade cold, with a few mint or basil leaves to taste.
If you wish, you can also drink it at room temperature to aid digestion, and flatten your tummy.
