Summer is at the door and the sun, yellow as lemon, warms up our days. Ready to make your day even brighter with a refreshing lemon and ginger slushy? If you have not tried it yet, have it for breakfast with a brioche as they do in Sicily. It’s delicious!
- 250 g sugar
- 9 tablespoons Limmi Lemon Juice
- Grated ginger to taste
Dissolve the sugar in 1 litre of warm water, add lemon juice and a little bit of grated ginger. Pour the liquid into a freezer-proof container and freeze for at least 3 hours, stirring occasionally. The consistency of the slushy will improve the more you stir it.
