Lemon Juice and Parsley Toner

Remove skin blemishes with lemon juice

Sun exposure, as well as aging, can lead to unsightly skin blemishes. Prevention by using a sun screening agent appropriate for our skin type is certainly the best option, but if melanin accumulation has already caused skin blemishes to appear, a precious ally can come to your rescue: lemon juice.

A practical, quick, all natural home-made recipe calls for lemon juice and parsley. You’ll have to try it to believe it!

Lemon and parsley skin toner

Preparation

Take a bunch of parsley and boil it in 2 cups of water for about 15 minutes. Once it’s done boiling, remove the parsley and add 5-10 drops of lemon juice to the water. Let it cool down, and then dab the tonic on the blemishes with a cotton ball. Let it stay on for about 30 minutes, then it rinse off thoroughly with lukewarm water.

If you wish, you can refrigerate the tonic and repeat the application daily.

Please note: Those with sensitive skin should dilute the lemon juice in a little bit of water instead of applying it full-strength.
