Tuna is an open water fish. The most prized wild-caught species is the red-fleshed Mediterranean bluefin tuna, while yellowfin tuna is mainly used for canning.
Here is a quick and easy tuna entree, rich in omega 3 (EPA and DHA) to keep your hearth, bones, and skin healthy.
(for 2 servings)
- 2 tuna steaks
- ½ glass white wine
- 3 tablespoons LIMMI lemon juice
- chives and dill to taste
- salt to taste.
- extra-virgin olive oil to taste
Sear both sides of the tuna steaks in a little bit of extra-virgin olive oil, deglaze with white wine, add chives, dill, and salt to taste and cook them over low heat for about 15 minutes.
