Pasta salad with tuna and lemon

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Difficulty: very easy

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 400 gr penne pasta
  • 250 gr tuna fish
  • The juice of 1 lemon (3 tablespoons of Limmi lemon juice)
  • 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
  • Some capers
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh basil
  • Salt & pepper
  • Tomatoes to garnish


Put a large pot of salted water on to boil, meanwhile, place tuna in a skillet with lemon juice and some capers. Combine all the ingredients creating a smooth and homogeneous mixture. While tossing, add the mayonnaise, the oil and a pinch of salt. Strain the pasta, rinsing under cold running water until cooled, then drain completely and put on a serving bowl. Dress with the tuna & lemon sauce and garnish with some minced basil and some tomatoes wedges. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
