We participated in the“TrackIT Blockchain” project promoted by the ICE Agency, which supports companies in adopting digital registration technologies. This makes it possible to securely and transparently indicate the entire supply chain of Made in Italy products on international markets, guaranteeing their excellence. The Trusty platform, developed by startup Apio on IBM Food Trust technology, makes this traceability possible. Thanks to this technology, products have a tracking system that allows consumers to access detailed information about their supply chain journey. This is an important step in ensuring high standards at every stage of production, from field to table.
With the blockchain, it is possible to know the history of every single LIMMI Succo di Limoni Siracusa IGP and LIMMI Succo di Limoni BIO: just frame the QR-code to access all the production stages of a specific batch, verifying the origin of raw materials and food safety, processing stages, as well as rigorous controls along the entire supply chain.
Entering the“TrackIT Blockchain” project means for us to strengthen the relationship of trust with consumers who find in our products the great citrus heritage of the vocated territories of Sicily, Calabria and Campania.
Our 100% Italian products, are now recognized as the Lemon juices that release the most authentic scents and colors of the Mediterranean coasts, enclosed in an elegant RPet bottle. An innovative packaging that allows the essential oil extracted from the peel to mix with the juice only at the moment of use, thus guaranteeing the taste, aroma and freshness of the lemon as if just squeezed. Its versatility allows its use at many times of the day and in many ways: as an ingredient in mouth-watering recipes or to flavor cold and hot drinks, fruit salads and ice cream.

Syracuse Lemon Juice PGI
It is made only from PGI Syracuse Lemons grown with eco-friendly farming practices and special attention to supporting local producers in Sicily. The Syracuse PGI Lemon grows between the sea and the hinterland of Syracuse, in a fertile and flat coastline, within 210 meters above sea level, where the land is best suited for growing lemons that are distinguished by their high juiciness and richness of oil glands in the peel. A strict PGI specification ensures proper balance and development of the plant, which must always be subject to proper aeration, with a maximum density of 400 to 500 plants per hectare. Due to the composition of the soil, the lemon is very juicy, aromatic, rich in vitamin C, minerals and antioxidants. It is harvested strictly by hand.
Organic Lemon Juice
It is made only from certified organic Sicilian Lemons that are distinguished because they are the result exclusively of cultivation methods recognized by the relevant regulations.
The organic cultivation of Sicilian Lemons are balanced agroecosystems in which the cycle of life is guaranteed through pollinating insects and substances extracted from other plants. Flavor and aroma are ensured by a favorable climate, alluvial soil, rich in limestone and well hydrated. Farmers collaborate and interact with each other to ensure pristine lemon groves, safeguarding biodiversity. Lemons are harvested strictly by hand, in lemon groves like “gardens by the sea,” kissed by the sun. Certified quality, unique and rich in fragrance.
