REDUCTION IN WATER CONSUMPTION BY ABOUT 50 PERCENT
We have implemented a closed loop for our water use, which through recovery and reuse allows us to reduce water consumption by 50 percent.
The green and sharing spaces surrounding the company are irrigated through rainwater and recycled water from production processes, thanks to the closed water cycle that leads to a significant reduction in our water consumption.
REDUCTION IN ENERGY CONSUMPTION, EQUAL TO 21%.
During 2021, we taken many steps toward environmental sustainability. These include the installation of a dedicated photovoltaic system to generate electricity and the implementation of a sophisticated smart system designed to optimize the energy efficiency of our machines. As a result of these innovative initiatives, we have seen a significant reduction in energy consumption of about 21 percent, demonstrating our tangible commitment to protecting the environment and adopting environmentally sustainable business practices.
ONLY 0.2% DEVIATION
The company has adopted a strategy aimed at production efficiency called “Lemon Zero Waste,” which has led to further improvements in waste management. Thanks to this initiative, we were able to reduce waste even more, from an already good 0.6 percent to an even smaller 0.2 percent. In our efforts to reduce environmental impact, we have chosen to use environmentally sustainable materials for packaging.
Our bottles are made from 30 percent RPet, a recycled plastic that is fully recyclable, while the bottles are made from recycled glass,
reducing the ecological footprint and supporting the local economy through zero-mile production. Through these judicious choices, we have reduced plastic use by 25 percent, demonstrating our tangible commitment to a more sustainable and responsible future.
